(More customer reviews)I bought two of these for my garage and it worked as pictured. I was surprised how easy it was to pull the bike up to the ceiling. I was worried my wife would have a hard time using it but she had no problems. I don't have any kids but I imagine this would be perfect for kids bikes.
Keep in mind that when you install this it should be screwed into a rafter.If the rafters run in the wrong direction simply use a board perpendicular to the rafters which will provide an excellent place to screw the lift to.
