(More customer reviews)This is not a bad rack. It's light and seems to be well made. Nevertheless,it annoys me when vendors claim a "universal" ability to mount on any bike. Out of the box, no way will this work on my frame, which happens to be a Gary Fisher Mendota. To make this thing work, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy some aluminum straps in order to fabricate the necessary bracket extensions. Had the packaged connectors been about 4 inches longer it might have worked.
