(More customer reviews)One thing I didn't see in other reviews or the Amazon write-up is the fact that the two ends can rotate relative to each other (unlike some other models) - this provides more flexibility and can help with some child bikes that are too small for this to fit in the normal way.For example, I rotate one end 90 degrees to connect to a handlebar cross brace on a child bike - I hauled this way (plus a second Swagman adapter on a lady's bike) on an over-2000 mile trip with zero problems.
It would be nice if the minimum/fully-retracted length was a bit shorter, but other than that, this is a good, quality item.
